Personal Vision

In 20 years I see myself as a Neurosurgeon surgeon operating on patients in the O.R. Seeing the progress in my moms illness after just weeks of her surgeries, sparked an interest in my life, to help transform patients' lives for the better. I am ready to take on the 13-year journey to achieve this goal of mine.

 

First, I will enroll in an undergraduate program for 4 years, achieving the highest GPA possible so I can get into medical school. Once I am in medical school, I have 2 years of studying and then 2 years of rotation in clinics. Finally, once I finish my 8 years of school, I will apply for residency and join a specialized program for the next 5 years. 

 

After my schooling and residency is completed, I hope to become a surgeon at a hospital and one day open my own practice. Even though this seems like a set plan that I will follow, these are my goals I want to achieve. I know there will be many hiccups along the way, but I truly  hope one day I can be in the O.R saving the lives of countless amounts of people.
